The AOL Scholars

The AOL Scholars (TAS) is a scholarship program created to support young people, particularly those about to enter university, as well as first- and second-year students in STEM-related fields. The program is established in loving memory of my late father, whose life continues to form the basis of what it means to me to live and work for the people, most especially the CHILDREN of nobody.

Through TAS, the AOL Foundation seeks to empower Africa’s next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers by removing financial barriers to higher education. In its inaugural year, the program will support FOUR outstanding students, covering their tuition throughout their university education through dedicated endowment funds.

Sustainable Support Through Endowment

The AOL Scholars (TAS) program is supported by a dedicated endowment fund, ensuring that deserving students have long-term access to quality education. The endowment is invested responsibly, and the income generated is used to cover tuition, mentorship, and development programs, while the principal remains preserved for future generations.

This structure allows the AOL Foundation to sustainably support talented young scholars year after year, providing them with the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to become leaders, innovators, and changemakers across Africa and beyond.
